After Workday speakers gave their talks, Marie Hedigan, a founder of UXtomorrow, introduced the two guest speakers of the night. Pavitra Tandon gave a talk about ‘The UX gold rush’. She gave insights into UX traits, skills, challenges and progression. Pavitra encouraged the audience’s engagement with a fun exercise. The audience had many heart shapes, which was nice to see. Robert Coyle gave a talk ”Building a UX Career: The Hard Way’. His talk gave insights into progression, possible career paths, inspiration and self-learning. His talk was directed towards mid-level to senior designers but with plenty of insights for designers trying to break into the UX field.
