Last Thursday, we had a very successful evening at our event in Storyful. Two speakers gave talks on the night about their insights into the UX process and Measuring success. Flavien Plouzennec, UX designer at Xwerx and Om Tandon, UX director at Digit Games.
Flavien spoke to us about “Best analytic practices in the news industry.” He gave us insight into how to measure success in the newsroom and examples of how UX is practiced in the news industry. See below for links to Flavien’s presentation and other resources.
Om gave us an insight into UX in the Games industry. How UX methodologies can change the culture and increase revenue. Being creative with your resources and sharing findings can create an understanding and ‘buy-in’ for the UX process.
Both presentations were received with interest from a large audience on a stormy evening. Storyful sponsored the event with pizza, beer and a great venue. Mary O’Gorman and Marie Hedigan, co-founders of UXtomorrow organised the event and are delighted with the positive turnout and comments from attendees. If you were there, feel free to leave a comment 🙂
