In 2018, we weren’t a very active group. I (Mary) was busy moving jobs and concentrating on some other work and didn’t have the time to focus on tomorrow. Marie travelled for four months and got back to Dublin in September. But now, at the start of a fresh new year, we are re-energised and are looking forward to planning new events for UXtomorrow. We also have a new addition; please welcome Mélissa Batty, who will help us organise some of the events.
Some of our high-level plans include scheduling workshops and meeting more people interested in UX design, products, and technology. We want to start the year with discussions and reviews. We plan to run a ‘learning club’ each month. It will include different learning resources, such as books, online articles, podcasts, and videos.
We are excited about these events because they will keep us up-to-date on different topics and motivate us to expand our knowledge.
Our next event will be held on Tuesday, the 26th of February. The book that we will be discussed is “Articulating Design Decisions” by Tom Greever.
